2021

One filly born. Sold CC to a good home where she will be used and loved. John and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a trip to Lake Superior. Did not get any mares bred. Niccalena had a terrible accident and lost one eye. She spent about a month at the UW Vet Hospital in Madison. She is doing great now…back to her old bossy self. I started writing a book about the horses and horse people in my life. Maybe I will finish it this winter. It has been a real trip down memory lane. I have had over 75 horses and I’m not done yet. The people have been important to me as well as the horses. I have learned so much from the horses and the people and continue to learn. The pandemic has been a real bummer for so many people but we are lucky here on the farm to be able to keep up with our usual routine. Always chores to do. Saying GOODBYE TO CONNIE FITZGERALD ….may she Rest In Peace.
